What It Is
Not all AI avatars need to look like super models with impeccable skin and blue eyes. Local People is an experimental project exploring the creation of AI-generated avatars that authentically represent regular Brazilian people, featuring natural voices in Brazilian Portuguese and diverse, realistic appearances that reflect the country's rich cultural diversity. This project challenges the conventional beauty standards often present in AI-generated content and aims to create more inclusive and representative digital personas.

As a solo experimental project, my responsibilities included concept development, prompt engineering for authentic Brazilian character generation, video synthesis orchestration, voice generation with natural Brazilian Portuguese accents, and lip-sync integration to create believable digital humans that represent the diversity of Brazilian people.
